Your SS IPTV MAC address is the short code that pairs your TV with your playlist. This guide shows you where it lives on every device, what to do when it changes, and the SS IPTV settings that make streams run clean.

This is the number-one MAC question our support inbox gets, usually phrased as "everything worked until I reset the TV." Here's what's going on:
- Factory reset or firmware update. A full reset on Samsung or LG reinstalls apps with a fresh identifier, so the app reports a different MAC. Your playlist is not gone; the pairing just points at the old code.
- Reinstalling the app. Deleting and reinstalling Simple Smart IPTV can regenerate the identifier on some TV models.
- New TV. Obviously a new set means a new MAC. The old pairing stays behind with the old hardware.

SS IPTV Settings Worth Changing (and What to Leave Alone)

And the setting that matters most isn't in the app at all: your network. 5 GHz Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable, 25 Mbps down for reliable 4K, 10 Mbps for HD.
